CWIL Founder and Executive Committee Member Cisselon Nichols Hurd Named 2016 TMCP Corporate Counsel of the Year Award Recipient

CWIL Founder and Executive Committee Member Cisselon Nichols Hurd has been named the 2016 recipient of the TMCP Corporate Counsel of the Year Award. The Award recognizes a corporate counsel who has “done the most to open doors for Texas minority, women, and LGBT attorneys by promoting diversity within its department and/or company and by consistently hiring minority, women, and/or LGBT attorneys in private practice to perform legal work on behalf of its company.”

As Senior Litigation Counsel for Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas, Hurd handles environmental litigation. Prior to joining Shell, Hurd served as Senior Counsel at ConocoPhillips, where she managed mass toxic tort litigation matters.
