Statement from CWIL

At this painful and difficult time for our nation, we are grappling with the meaning and promise of justice and equality for all.

At this painful and difficult time for our nation, we are grappling with the meaning and promise of justice and equality for all.  The staff and leadership at the Center for Women in Law are outraged and sorrowful that the Black community continues to face egregious forms of discrimination and brutality, often under the guise of enforcement of law.  It is the Center’s goal to support members of our Law School community and seasoned professionals across the country in the face of systemic injustice.  Our aim is to expand access, parity, and success, and we are examining our own efforts to build a more just and inclusive society.
