Lauren Eaton Prescott

Lauren Eaton Prescott practiced law for eight years with both international energy companies and a Houston law firm before becoming a legal search consultant. In 2008, she became a community volunteer after she and her husband sold Prescott Legal Search which was the largest legal search firm in Texas and one of the largest in the nation. During her years at Prescott she headed its National Energy Team and was a member of its senior-level Retained Search Practice Group. She was responsible for legal search engagements for international and domestic corporations and law firms, and in that capacity, handled assignments ranging from junior attorneys to law firm partners and general counsel.

Lauren attended Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and received her B.A. with honors from The University of Texas. In 1975, she received her J.D. degree with honors from The University of Texas. She is a Trustee Emerita of Randolph College and served on the Board of Directors of South Texas College of Law. During her years in Houston she was a board member for several cultural and philanthropic organizations and served as chair of the President’s Council of the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe.
