Michelle Goolsby

Michelle Goolsby is a Venture Partner and Partner at Greenmont Capital Partners, a private equity firm focusing on investments in the natural products industry. She has served as a director of WhiteWave Foods Company and currently is a member of the Board of Directors at SACHEM, Inc., a private chemical science company, and an independent member of the Board of Directors at Capstead Mortgage Corporation. Michelle has spent years practicing law with major Texas law firms, where she advises clients on corporate matters and public and private capital markets transactions while holding various management positions. For over 10 years she served in various capacities, including Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of Dean Foods Company (NYSE:DF), with responsibilities including strategic growth initiatives, legal and compliance, government relations, human resources, communications, and corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.

Michelle is heavily involved with all spectrums of corporations, public and private, profit and nonprofit. She is currently a member of the Investment Committee of Greenmont Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Boulder, Colorado, a member of the Board of Directors of The Organic Center and an Advisory Director for Vitamin Angels. She is also a Founding Member of The Center for Women in Law at The University of Texas School of Law and a Trustee of The University of Texas Law School Foundation. Michelle is a Certified Texas Mediator and a member of Mediators Beyond Borders and is trained in Collaborative Law. She has advised for profit and nonprofit organizations as to various governance matters, commercial transactions and organizational change initiatives.

She is a graduate of The University of Texas where she received her B.B.A. in Accounting with Honors in 1980 and of The University of Texas School of Law where she received her J.D., with Honors in 1983.
