Peggy Heeg is a partner at Reed Smith LLP. She is past partner of the Energy Practice Group at Norton Rose Fulbright and a past member of Fulbright’s Executive Committee. She also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of El Paso Corporation.

Peggy combines her knowledge of the energy industry and understanding of energy regulation to provide practical advice and commercial solutions to energy companies on a broad array of project development, regulatory compliance and complex governance matters. She has extensive experience representing companies, officers, directors and special committees in conducting internal investigations related to corporate malfeasance, regulatory compliance, whistleblower allegations and related party transactions.

Peggy is a member of the Board of Directors of Eagle Rock Energy, a publicly traded master limited partnership and a member of the Texas Lottery Commission. Peggy has served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of the United Way of Greater Houston and the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of DePelchin Children’s Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Louisville.
