Lynn is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics,  serving Sunoco from August, 2008 until May 2012. She is retired from Royal Dutch Shell where she served in various capacities for 28 years, from 1980 until 2008. Her last role with Shell was Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing where she had responsibility for Shell’s refining business and chemical manufacturing worldwide. Ms. Elsenhans graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Science in 1978 and earned a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1980. Ms. Elsenhans is a member of the Board of Directors of GlaxoSmithKline and Baker Hughes, a member of the Board of Trustees at Rice University, and a member of the Council of Overseers at the Jones School of Business at Rice. She also serves on the boards of The United Way of Greater Houston, The Houston Chapter of First Tee, and the Texas Medical Center. Ms. Elsenhans resides in Houston with her husband John.
