Terri Lacy

Terri is a partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth L.L.P. As the co-head of the firm’s Business Practice Group, Terri focuses her practice on personal tax planning, with particular emphasis on structuring estate plans for high wealth individuals. She also has developed extensive experience in government ethics laws, and uses that expertise to represent officials in the federal administration.

She has received professional recognition for her work, profiled as one of the leading Tax lawyers in the United States (US Legal 500), one of the leading Private Wealth Law lawyers in Texas (Chambers & Partners: High Net Worth Guide), and, for the past decade, a Texas Super Lawyer in Estate & Probate (Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters, published in Texas Monthly).

Terri holds affiliations with the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council, Houston Estate and Financial Forum, and the State Bar of Texas.

Terri earned a B.A. with highest honors from Southern Methodist University. Participating in the Southwestern Law Review as Managing Editor, Terri earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
