Scholarships
The Lisa Atlas Genecov and Dr. Jeffery S. Genecov Endowed Presidential Scholarship provides three $3,750 scholarships for three 2L, 3L or LLM Texas Law students with a demonstrated commitment to advancing women’s issues and gender equality. This includes legal work in nonprofit, pro bono, government, and/or legislative settings.
The Wayne B. Duddlesten, Sr./Center for Women in Law Endowment for Excellence Fellowship was established by the Wayne B. Duddlesten Foundation to support 2L or 3L Texas Law students of high academic achievement with a preference given to individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing women’s leadership. The recipient of this scholarship receives $6,000 and is referred to as the Duddlesten Fellow. As a Duddlesten Fellow, this student interns with the Center for Women in Law during the academic year.

Scholarships are awarded based on 1) commitment to advancing women’s leadership and career goals, 2) involvement in student organizations and interest in promoting women at the law school, and 3) alignment with the Center’s strategic objectives.
