This  Power Lunch Series focused on learning how to build a leadership portfolio from Janiece Longoria of Ogden Gibson Broocks Longoria & Hall, LLP. Janiece has held some of the most influential roles in Texas including: Chairman of the Port of Houston Authority, the nation’s 2nd busiest port; Regent of the University of Texas System; Member of the Board of Directors of CenterPoint Energy, Inc., the third largest publicly traded natural gas delivery company in the United States; and Member of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Board of Directors, Healthcare Policy Advisory Committee, and Transportation Infrastructure Committee.

Janiece has extensive experience in commercial litigation, securities litigation, and securities arbitration. She received the highly-coveted Texas Exes Distinguished Alumnus Award on November 1.

The Center for Women in Law, through the Tuesday Power Lunch Series, aims to highlight prominent women lawyers from a wide range of career paths in the legal profession. Power Lunch attendees will have a chance to discuss their own career interests and goals in a supportive, informative, and judgment-free environment.
