On Wednesday, the Center for Women in Law hosted our Consortium for Advancing Women Lawyers. The Consortium provides the platform to support a national movement by bringing together thought leaders from across the country who are leading initiatives to advance women in the legal profession.

The Center for Women in Law partnered with Cafecitos and Minority Women Pursuing Law to host a speed networking event at UT Law. At this event, we helped build a solid pipeline by connecting with these young women of color, many of them Latinas, who intend to pursue careers in law.

This event has passed.On Thursday, February 23, national fair housing expert Demetria McCain, spoke on “Federal Fair Housing Policy in the Biden-Harris Administration.” The talk was held in the law school’s Eidman Courtroom at 4:15pm with a reception afterwards.
