The Consortium for Advancing Women Lawyers provides the platform to support a national movement by bringing together thought leaders from across the country who are leading initiatives to advance women in the legal profession.

CWIL and If/When/How hosted an event aimed to highlight different law careers in the field of reproductive justice. The panel featured practitioners in the field of reproductive justice who spoke about their experiences and answered questions from a student audience. 

Described as a “veritable Who’s Who of influential women in the legal profession,” the Women’s Power Summit™ is one of the most significant gatherings of women lawyers and their allies in the country.

Judge Nancy Atlas, retired U.S. District Judge, hosted a conversation with Sara Moss, Senior Advisor and former Vice Chairman, The Estée Lauder Companies.  

“Women Empowering Leadership in the Law” The mission statement of the W.E.L.L. Summit is to engage, educate, and energize women lawyers practicing in Austin through a forum intended to uplift, inspire, transform, and amplify women’s voices in the legal profession.

Regina Bynote Jones, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of ADM (one of the world’s largest nutrition companies), was interviewed by our Executive Director, Veronica Stidven

The Center for Women in Law partnered with Cafecitos and Minority Women Pursuing Law to host a speed networking event at UT Law. At this event, we helped build a solid pipeline by connecting with these young women of color, many of them Latinas, who intend to pursue careers in law.
