The Center for Women in Law's Institute for Law and Leadership was developed with the intent to offer guidance to Texas Law students as they are discovering the law (1L), looking for jobs (2L), and preparing for the beginning of their careers (3L). Our student-focused panels, developed with law students, focus on what is considered crucial to bridging the gap between being a law student and becoming an effective lawyer. The event is full of opportunities to network, create mentorship opportunities, and provide real input for student growth and success. Our goal is to identify the very best lawyers to serve as speakers and panelists for the Institute program to impart their knowledge on Texas Law students for how to succeed in their careers.
