CWIL Leader-in-Residence Roberta (“Bobbi”) Liebenberg has been named one of the Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer's 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award honorees. This prestigious award honors lawyers who have helped shape the law in Pennsylvania, and have had a distinct impact on the legal profession in the state.
Bobbi is a senior partner at Fine, Kaplan and Black in Philadelphia, where she focuses her practice on class actions, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation. The National Law Journal named Bobbi as one of its “50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America.” She has long been a leading voice in promoting and supporting women in law. She twice served as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession, and also served as the first Chair of the ABA’s Gender Equity Task Force. She is the co-founder and now serves as Chair of DirectWomen, the only organization that identifies highly qualified and experienced women attorneys for service on the boards of public companies. She is also an active member of the CWIL’s Consortium for Advancing Women Lawyers.
The Center congratulates Bobbi on this well-deserved and prestigious Award.
