Justice Fernande (Nan) R.V. Duffly to Receive ABA’s Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award

Justice Fernande (Nan) R.V. Duffly, has been named as a recipient of the prestigious Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award by the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession.

Justice Fernande (Nan) R.V. Duffly, has been named as a recipient of the prestigious Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award by the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession. The award will be presented at the ABA’s Annual Meeting in Chicago in August. Justice Duffly is the first Asian American member of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and has served as president of the National Association of Women Judges and Commissioner on the ABA’s Commission on the Status of Women in the Profession. Other recipients of the award include Flora D. Darpino, Mari Carmen Aponte, Mary Ann Hynes, and Emma Coleman Jordan.

The Center for Women in Law congratulates Justice Duffly and the other recipients on this well-deserved honor.
