Kristi Swartz is the managing partner of Bryan Cave’s Hong Kong office.After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Business Administration, Kristi earned a Graduate Diploma in Law and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at universities in England and Master of Laws at the University of Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, Kristi began her career in-house with a renowned property developer before setting up her own practice, Swartz Solicitors in 2006. Swartz Solicitors’ reputation spoke for itself as it expanded in 2008 with a merger to a well-established British firm where she also sat on the Strategic Planning Committee. In 2011 Kristi brought her practice to an US based international law firm where she was appointed the first female managing partner in the firm’s history and was an active member of the Management Committee. In 2013 Kristi joined Bryan Cave as the office managing partner where she continues to grow her practice. Join us to learn about living and working abroad as a practicing attorney for a top law firm.

The Center for Women in Law, through the October Power Lunch Series, seeks to provide students with possible role models and mentors by exposing them to prominent women lawyers and other public figures from a wide range of career paths. Attending students have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their own career goals in an informal and interactive environment.
