On April 1, 2016, the KBH Energy Center and the Law School’s Center for Women in Law hosted a Women in Energy Panel. The panel was part of the KBH Energy Center’s Spring 2016 Distinguished Lecture Series. The panelists included Sylvia J. Kerrigan (UT JD ’90), the executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Marathon Oil Corporation, Stephanie C. Hildebrant, a partner in the Houston office of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, Amy Maxwell (UT JD ’07), a legal, legislative, and regulatory consultant and the former chief of staff and legal counsel to Texas Railroad Commissioner David Porter, and Dr. Peggy Wilson (UT PhD ’52). A true trailblazer in the oil and gas industry, Dr. Wilson became the first woman PhD in the history of Mobil Oil Corporation and the first woman to rise to managerial level. View speaker bios.
