Texas Women Lawyers gathered together members of women’s bar organizations from around the state for a weekend retreat in Houston. Activities included a networking happy hour on Friday night and informative sessions on Saturday morning and afternoon.

CWIL hosted a screening of the award-winning documentary MISS REPRESENTATION in the Francis Auditorium (TNH 2.114) on September 20. The evening began with light refreshments followed by the screening at 6 pm.

Women lawyers from coast to coast joined together for One Great Big Night – a multi-location event taking place in seven U.S.

For lawyers, navigating children and careers can be daunting. Presented by leading lawyers who have done it and from their children who have lived it. Attendees gained insights into how to chart their own paths to fulfilling careers and families.

Counsel to the President, Kathy Ruemmler, has had quite the career. From being the only woman (aside from jurors) in the Enron courtroom to partnership at Latham & Watkins LLP to advising President Obama, Kathy has done everything by being true to herself and her own leadership style.
