CWIL welcomed the following 13 new Leaders at the 2016 CWIL Biennial Luncheon on April 15, 2016

On April 15, 2015, The Center for Women in Law (CWIL) at the University of Texas Law School held its 2016 Awards Luncheon at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Austin. The landmark event was a sellout, with more than 450 in attendance, many of them UT alumni.

The University of Texas at Austin President Greg Fenves has honored CWIL Founder Janiece Longoria with a Presidential Citation. The Citation is given to individuals who personify UT’s mission to transforming lives and impacting their communities.

CWIL Leader Daniella Landers will receive the Outstanding Achievement Award from African American Lawyer’s Section – State Bar of Texas. This honor will be presented to Daniella at thedaniella Texas African American Lawyers Summit on April 16, 2016.
