As part of its Ginsburg Initiative, the Center for Women in Law hosted a virtual panel discussion on building successful coalitions to advance gender equality in the workplace. The panel discussed recent research by Professor Insiya Hussain that shows that groups seeking to advance gender equality in the workplace need to include both men and women to increase their likelihood of success. The panelists discussed the ideas of standing, legitimacy, and priority, and the groups that can help bring those to coalitions. They also discussed successful ways for men to become allies, as well as the practical applications of these ideas in legal organizations.

This event was approved for 1 hour of CLE credit.
