The Pathways Series empowers students to learn more about and engage with various legal careers and professionals. Through the Pathways Series, the Center highlights a variety of career paths and successful lawyers. The program exposes Texas Law students to the diversity of the legal field and provides opportunities for mentorship and networking. The program supports professional development for Texas Law students beginning their careers and for more senior professionals. This program is valuable to first-generation students and students and lawyers from underrepresented groups.
On September 20, 2023, the Center, in conjunction with Texas Law Career Services and the Plaintiffs' Advocacy & Litigation Society (PALS), will host a panel at Texas Law featuring women in the law profession who have extensive experience representing plaintiffs in a variety of cases. The discussion will center on plaintiff advocacy and their career journeys. The panel will be moderated by Michelle Cheng.
